Evan's 1st Birthday!

Hey everyone! Well we cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. I just wanted to send out a few pictures from Evan's birthday party. We had a really nice time, although our pool party got rained out! We still bbq'd and hung out. And lucky for Evan all of his grandparents were able to be there. Also, our little Evan was sick! He was in recovery from his first ear infection and sinus infection but he still had a good time! He had his first hot dog, you can tell by the look on his face, he was not too sure about it :) He was very silly and didn't want to get his hands messy with the cupcake (I don't know where he gets that from!) But he is obsessed with eating with a fork so after I gave him the fork then he went for it! Thanks for everyone who came and helped out, we really appreciated it and had a great time.

It's Pool Season

My son has a Martin butt! Don't ask me how or why I have seen them all (and yes I mean ALL of them) but I have, and Evan has one! It's still cute though :) He absolutely loves the pool, blue lips, shivering and all! I finally went and bought him a bathing suit so he doesn't have to swim in his clothes half naked anymore. Haleigh is getting ready to take swim lessons in about a week or so, she is very excited! She is also a pool finatic!

Evan In the Bath

Evan figured out how to shovel water out of the tub. He's been fascinated with it ever since. He is able to fling water across the bathroom to the opposite wall and mirror. It's not fun to clean up, but hysterical to watch!

Gardening With Haleigh

Just for clarification, thanks to Codee :)  Although it may look like Haleigh and Evan are gardening rocks they are actually planting flowers in the rocks :)  Haleigh picks flowers from the front yard and plants them in the rocks in the back yard.  It's Arizona, what do you expect?!  A real garden?

Today is Evan's first year birthday. Charla snapped this pic of our little guy in his birthday suit with her phone. Later this month we are having a pool party for his birthday. Evan LOVES the pool!

Salsa Festival

Last week we attended the Salsa Festival of Maricopa. Tons of peope set up booths to share their salsa concoctions. Everyone gets a free bag of tortilla chips to use to taste the salsas. Vendors and businesses from all over the city set up booths to pimp out their stuff.

It was a little hot out that day. We tried to give Evan some of our snow cone.

Towards the end of the day we kicked it at the playground. This is Evan's first experience with the slide--he loved it!

He also loved the swing!

We also went on a walk. People were impressed with his walking skills.
