Labor Day!

Kay so I can never remember to load my pictures backwards so they're always in the wrong order but it's too much hassle to cut and paste! So, you'll have to deal with it! Over Labor Day we were trying to think of what we could do that is Cheap! So we went to the train park with Chaundra and Haleigh which is one of Evan's favorite places! Here he is waving at the train, it's kind of the thing you do there, to wave at the train every time it goes by. Evan LOVES trains! He especially liked when we went through the dark tunnel. Now every time we go under a freeway overpass he says, look mom, a dark tunnel!

Here's Haleigh jumping off the incline balance beam after much practice! She didn't think she could make it all the way but we knew she could! And she did, over and over and over :)

This is the face Evan makes when he says "Cheese!" We're trying to figure out another word he can say so he won't look so angry! :)

Just for fun, here's a few pictures of the last time we went to the train park, almost a year ago!!!!! I'm still amazed every day at how big and grown up Evan is! Yes, same hat, bigger size! He loves to wear his hat and be just like daddy :) Unfortunately they only make one adjustable hat for toddlers and kids! It doesn't matter, it's a snake so Evan loves it!

So Funny

Evan just said the funniest thing, well funny to me and Jarom so we thought we'd share. Jarom was asking him, "So Evan, do you want a little brother or sister?" He thought for a second and said, "I want an Evan!" We just started laughing! But I think he's on to something, I would love another Evan because he's so wonderful!

Good News!

Well, the good news is my tubes are clear! The right tube took a little coaxing so there may have been a blockage. Hopefully that did the trick, we shall see! This place I went to this time was so nice and the Dr. was fabulous! It wasn't hardly painful at all, vastly different from the last one I had! Thanks to all of you for your positive comments and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers :)

Here we go again!

So as many of you know if took 2 years to get pregnant with our sweet little Evan. I thought for sure it wouldn't take so long with the 2nd one. No such luck :( After trying for a year we are starting our fertility testing all over again. I have my first test tomorrow, an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to test for tubal patency :) This is where they insert a catheter up your you know what and inject dye inside and watch on fluoroscopy x-ray to see if the dye spills out of both tubes. Wish me luck! I had this test done last time and it was so painful so I'm hoping it won't be as bad this time. Hopefully everything is normal but I have this bad feeling in the back of my head that something is not quite right. I know you all are thinking that I'm just paranoid, which I am, but I still can't shake the feeling! Hopefully there's nothing wrong and this test flushes me out because Evan needs a little brother :)

ABC's

Here's a video of Evan saying his ABC's, it's amazing how smart he is at such a young age. I had two videos, one where he did it perfect and this one which just made me laugh. When he says V is sounds a lot like 3. So when he got to V he switched into numbers mode and said 3, 4, 5 :) Then he realized his mistake and said the last letters in random order. I thought it was funny anyway :)

Rock Band!

Evan LOVES it when uncle Nate comes over and brings his Rock Band! He loves to play every instrument and loves singing into the mic and the headset :) He makes us die every time but he loves it! Haleigh was really getting into it, she's such a great singer!

My Race Car Bed!

So, thanks to Justin and Chelsea we have figured out a solution to Evan's bed problem! He now has his new Race Car Bed! We moved our guest bed into his room and went shopping for new sheets. I suspected he would go right for Thomas The Train, Ah I was right! Uh-oh, 5 seconds later...I want Dora, I want Dora! Hmmmm.... So we go through all of our choices again (not that he can't have Dora! I just wanted him to be sure :) ) Then he saw the Race Cars! Oh it was all over from there. Even though he's never seen the movie, he instantly fell in love! (need to buy that movie) So we get home and he is just so excited he wouldn't let them go, he even cried when I put them in the washer because "I hold my race car sheets mom!" Ok, buddy, as soon as I wash them! He slept like a champ ON the bed :) And all day today he would say "I take a nap on my race car bed with race car pillow and race car sheets!" It's so cute, he would go lay down for 5 minutes, pretend to take a nap and the cycle went on for most of the afternoon like that :) Here's some pics, and of course Haleigh had to get in on that action :) They were posing and giving each other kisses, so cute :)
