Funny Pics

Evan was cracking us up the other day with Jarom's goggles.  He often goes into the hall closet and comes out with something he shouldn't have.  This time though, it was so funny we let him wear them.  He kept them on for a long time and every time they slipped down he would get upset and yell, Help, Help, Help!  The hat really polished it off for me.

Is This Normal?

This is what we woke up to this morning; Evan covered in blood.  Apparently he had a bloody nose sometime in the night.  His pajamas were covered and his arms and hands and cute little face of course.  I didn't know a nose could bleed so much!  Is this normal?

Train Park

Here's a few pictures I've been meaning to post.  We went with Justin and Chelsea and fam to the train park up in Scottsdale.  It was really fun, the boys had a blast, of course.  Evan wasn't too sure about the train ride at first but he ended up liking it.  They have a few really neat play areas, we can't wait to go back!

HELP! My Child is a picky eater!

Evan is such a wonderful child, so loving, polite and well behaved.  He sleeps like a champ, plays well with others.  I could go on.  The one thing I can't seem to figure out is his eating!  When he was a baby he was not picky at all, he ate every fruit and vegetable possible.  All of a sudden within the last three months he has become such a picky eater.  Stuff he used to devour he refuses.  He goes to bed hungry at least 3 times a week, if not more.  I hate putting him to bed hungry, but I refuse to make special meals.  He won't even try things to know if he likes them or not.  I can't even get him to take one bite.  I've tried punishing him and putting him in time out to get him to take bites, I've tried starving him all day to try to make him so hungry he has to eat (then I feel really bad putting him to bed hungry)  I'm tired of the struggle at night.  I need some advice people!  Any tips you got, lay them on me.

Evan's Favorite Present

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  We sure did at our house.  It's been a whirlwind of activity and I finally have a moment today to rest!  Jarom and I found a really good deal on a train table and got one for Evan for Christmas.  We thought for sure that it would be the favorite present and he wouldn't even care about the other presents and would play with his train table all day!  We were wrong!  Chaundra got him the Bubble King, who knew that would be his favorite present!  As soon as he realized what giant bubbles it would make he promptly went over to his train table, picked up his little stop light, and ran over to use it as a popper!  I'm glad my present came in handy for him :)  Then he proceeded to pop the bubbles with his stop light,and other body parts, including his foot, and his tongue.  It was so cute.  Now he asks on a daily basis, "Bubble, Bubble, Bubble?"  I usually give in, because he's so cute when he asks :)

Here are the pictures of our ugly sweater contest!  Our friend hosted a Christmas Party last week and we had an ugly sweater contest.  Our friend Mark won, it must have been his tight, manly brown turtleneck!  It was a lot of fun, thanks again Lacey and Eric!
