BEES!
Of course we've only lived in our house two weeks and we have a life threatening problem! Bees! Bees everywhere! We've got a swarm of bees making a hive/nest in our wall! They swooped in within minutes and have found a home. It wouldn't be so scary except Jarom is allergic to bees! And of course we can't find his Epi-pen anywhere. And of course the pharmacy can't find record of it and of course we have to wait 48 hours for them to contact our doctor! The bees will be gone by then! And of course our property manager wants to take the cheap way out and maybe not remove the hive, so then the bees could quite possibly return in a week or month and try to make their home again! I'm still trying to figure how how to get him to understand how serious of a problem this is! I can tell on the phone that he thinks I'm a dumb girl, but he doesn't know who he's dealing with! He even said on the phone, well if it's just 4 or 5 bees..... Dude, you think I'd be calling the pest control for 4 or 5 bees! Try 4 or 500! My bathroom sounds like there's an airplane in there! He also said, I know you probably won't know this but which direction is the wall facing? I was like, East! Ha! I'm not as dumb as you think! We'll see what happens, waiting for the pest man now!

I Can't Believe Evan is 2!!!!!!
It's so hard to believe that another year has gone by! My little Evan has turned 2! And is not so little at 30 lbs!!! We had a party for him at The Little Gym where he goes for gymnastics! He absolutely loved it! He was grinning from ear to ear the whole time and laughing hysterically and playing with his friends. Thanks to all those who came, Evan really enjoyed himself :) Here's a few pics, of course not in a great order because that would be too easy for blog to make your pics go in order!!!!!!!

And of course, Cake! I know it looks like he's not having fun here, but he's just concentrating. The teacher kept saying 1,2,3 to cue us in to sing and Evan, right on cue kept blowing out the candles :) So he was trying really hard to wait until it was really his turn to blow them out. We re-lit them 3 times! He liked it of course :)

One of Evan's favorite things was to play with the balls and of course his dad and uncle Justin made it even more fun!
He wanted to play with the parachute, of course! And they blew up the jump track which was a fan favorite :)
Presents! He loved every single one! Especially the dinosaur, the pic below was right after he pressed the button and it Roared! and started walking and making noise. He thought that was pretty funny :)

Bubbles!
Evan's new favorite thing is Bubble Bath Baby! I can get him to do just about anything with the promise of a bubble bath :) Including buzz his head. He was running away screaming and as soon as I brought out the bubbles he sat right down and didn't move a muscle. I love bribery! Does that make me a bad parent? :) I can't believe he's 2 already! I think after we shaved his head he started to look even older and more grown up to me. He also, of course, has to bathe his dinosaurs :)

Where did all the Easter Candy Go?
So here we are putting eggs together for an easter egg hunt. I'm not really paying attention, more concerned with the eggs and on and off the phone. Next thing I know Evan gives me this devious look :) Turns out, he really likes chocolate eggs and was secretly eating as much as possible before I could put the candy in the eggs

Here he is shoveling them in as fast as his little fingers can unwrap these tricky wrappers!

This is the face he made when I told him to say "Cheese!"

This was his despair when the bag of candy ran out!

So, he reached as fast as he could for the next bag! Too smart and too funny!
Somehow with all the chocolate he shoved down his throat I managed to have EXACTLY enough candy for all 50 of my eggs, down to the piece! I guess he ate just the right amount :)

Funny Pics
Evan was cracking us up the other day with Jarom's goggles. He often goes into the hall closet and comes out with something he shouldn't have. This time though, it was so funny we let him wear them. He kept them on for a long time and every time they slipped down he would get upset and yell, Help, Help, Help! The hat really polished it off for me.
