Happy Fourth!

Just a quick post...  We had our bestest friends in town last week, Codee, Randy and their son Jamison.  It was sooo fun, we love seeing them!  We were sooo sad to see them go, especially Evan!  He misses Jamison, he kept going into the guest room the day after they left and talking like, where did my friend go??!!  Thanks Codee and Randy for coming to visit, we love you guys!

For the 4th we went to Movie in the Park and watch The Sand Lot with a few thousand other people :)  During the movie a monsoon storm picked up and they came on the loud speaker and said they were probably going to cancel the rest of the movie and the fireworks.  A few minutes later they said we were going to try and ride out the storm, Yeah!  It was really windy, which felt good, and the lightning was beautiful!  Then after the movie they did a fireworks show which was the worst fireworks show I've ever seen!  They were like, it's an hour long fireworks show, trying to talk it up.  The reason it was an hour long was because they set off 1 firework at a time with about a minute in between each one!  It was so boring and people were leaving, and Evan fell asleep.  Anyways, we still had a great 4th of July!

Kindergarten Graduation

Here's a couple of pics from Haleigh's kindergarten graduation.  We're so proud of her!  After her graduation we had a little party at our house and had some cake and ice cream .

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day Evan and Haleigh and I went to As You Wish with Gisele and Olivia and made a picture frames.  It was stressful (I'm not very creative) but fun!  Evan enjoyed putting the paint on his hands but then when I turned them over to make the prints he kept making a fist!  So they look more like paws :) and he's missing a thumb on one!  It's the thought that counts right?!  Haleigh made a unicorn for her dad, she insisted that he LOVES unicorns!  I wish I had a picture of it, but I don't, it turned out really cute.  We love our DADDY!!!

Splash!

We went to the Splash Pad the other day with Kara, Taylor, and Collin.  It was fun!  The boys like the little waterfalls, not the big ones :)

Joys

1. Of course, Jarom and Evan are the pride and joy of my life!  I love those two more than life itself!

2. I can't list my joys without listing Chaundra and Haleigh.  Although Chaundra frustrates me to no end :) I can't live without her!  Haleigh is so wonderful and so smart, we love having her as a surrogate sister for Evan :)

3. Good friends, life wouldn't be the same without them.

I'm adding a 4th joy......

4. Sunshine, I am solar powered.  Thank goodness I live in AZ!

Fears

1. There are so many, one of my biggest is losing Jarom or Evan or something happening to me and leaving them with no wife/mother.

2. Becoming paralyzed or anyone in my family for that matter

3. Car accidents, because you have no control of the other drivers on the road.....the list could go on :)

Goals

1. To wear a bikini again this summer, and look decent.

2. To like cleaning the house again, I've had a housekeeper for so long I've totally gotten out of the habit. (that could actually go in my surprising facts section too!)

3. To raise well mannered, respectful, hard working children.

Current Obsession

1. I'm obsessed with trying to "be green" buying organic food and cleaners etc.

2. Finding cheap, fun things to do this summer.  If anyone has any suggestions please, feel free.

Random Surprising Facts

1. Jarom and I were engaged 3 times!  3rd time is a charm :)

2. I've stopped liking to clean!  I know some of you are completely shocked right now!  You get pregnant, get a weird lump in your stomach, your husband has 2 back surgeries, and that's what happens!  My house is still clean, but not what it used to be!  I'm working on getting back into it (goal#2!)

3. I hate repeating myself!  That may not surprise you, but it is a random fact :)

Working in the Back Yard!

Last weekend we were able to put up a fence and put in a sand box for Evan!  Now he can play outside without the fear of him going near the pool.  Evan was such a big help! And by help I mean, every time Jarom dug a hole Evan filled it in with rocks, and he kept turning off the radio!

Here's the finished product.  Our backyard will forevermore be a work in progress, but we got a lot done.  Here's some pictures of Haleigh and Evan playing with their new toys :)
