Camping!

We took Evan on his first camping trip, he absolutely loved it!  Between shoveling dirt, playing baseball, chasing dogs, and four wheeling he had a blast!  We went to Stoneman Lake with Jarom's brother and family and some other friends.  It was really nice, a little chilly for my tastes but not too bad.  The weather was really nice it only rained a couple of times, of course one being when we were trying to take down the tent and pack up!  But it was still beautiful and nice to get away.  My son was on a hunger strike the whole time, he barely ate anything.  Apparently he was too busy playing to eat.  We took Chaundra and Haleigh with us and Haleigh was so funny, especially when it came to the first time she had to "take care of business" in the woods :)  We can't wait to go camping again!

Evan's new favorite thing is to color.  He loves to draw and color pictures, but he hasn't quite got it that the crayons stay on the paper yet :)

I got Evan a new hat today. It's been so long since we've been in Cali, I have converted to a D-backs fan. (Sorry Oakland, you'll always have a special place in my heart. We'll always have the 2002 post-season!) -Jarom

Evan Swimming

We are amazed everyday at how fast Evan learns things.  He has watched Haleigh practice kicking and blowing bubbles on the dumbbell and the other day he just picked it up and jumped off the step and started kicking!  I was freaking out of course and grabbed him thinking he's crazy, what is he doing?!  But he thought it was fun and did it over and over.  Now he jumps off with it and kicks and blows bubbles!  Please ignore my nastiness in this video and my creepy mom voice :)

Genius!

Whoever invented drinkable yogurt is a genius!  My son will drink anything!  Give him a straw and he'll drink it, he doesn't care what it is or what it tastes like!

Dress Up!

Sorry Jarom!  Evan was all into Haleigh's hair things today and my shoes.  It was soooo cute, I had to take pictures of course :)

Visit from G'ma and G'pa

We were so fortunate to have Jarom's Dad and Mom out this past week for a visit.  They are always so good about coming out here.  Evan had a blast with them and was sad to see them go.  For some reason this is the only picture I got of them :)  We were at the library for story time and Evan was obsessed with carrying Chaundra's purse around.  I wish I had taken more pictures, but this one is pretty funny.  Thanks Doug and Stacey for coming out to visit!
