Trip to Apple Orchard

We took Evan out to this Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch last week.  It was so fun.  We got a little nervous on our way out there because it was raining.  But, as soon as we got there the rain stopped!  Then as soon as we left, like a mile down the road it started again!  It's like it stopped just for us :)  We took him through a corn maze where he discovered the joys of mud puddles, he had to stomp in every single one!  The corn maze took forever because of that :)  We took him on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch which he loved, he loved all the big tractors.  We got some fresh apple pie and apple bread, homemade ice cream, and fudge, Delicious!  Evan and Jarom found some really huge grasshoppers in the orchards to play with.  It was a lot of fun!

The mud puddles were cute for the first 5 minutes :)

That looks way fun. I wish the weather wasn't so darn freezing here and we could have enjoyed the pumpkin patch more too.

Are you kidding me with the grasshopper picture?!? Why are they fraternizing with bugs?!? Don't you know those jump?!? Total HeeBeeJeeBees! Okay, that's my only outburst, I am now pretending it never happened :)...looks like a total blast!!

How fun! If the mud puddles were the funnest part for him, you could have just taken him out in your backyard or something. Kids are funny how they love the simple things.
